BANDINFO:   Deutsche Version

--fractal dawn-- from Hamm/Westfalia in Germany are Johannes Kamp (bass), Dirk Lankers (drums), Sascha Rose (guitar/growls), Roman Wexler (guitar) and Oliver Zicholl (vocals/growls). The band was founded in early 2002, and most of the members had been friends for years and had played in different bands before.

The first gigs (one of them in Victor Smolski's (RAGE) Tenne club) and the melodic alloy of heavy, death and thrash metal were received enthusiastically by the audience.

With their first self-produced mini CD which came out in autumn 2003 --fractal dawn-- present their own philosophy of heavy music. Thanks to polished compositions of heavyness and challenging lyrics the demand for the mini CD was unexpectedly high, so that a second edition of the CD was produced in consequence.

This four-track-businesscard made it possible for the band to participate in the local festival "Hamms Beste Band" and to present their music to a larger audience. Other regional live-gigs followed and --fractal dawn-- will further on show how hard music can sound today: > metal for the virtual millennium <
